s430 trans??

Hello I am looking to buy a S430 but had a question about the transmission. In the past i have owned a 1999 ML430, which had a lot of problems with the transmission. My friend also had a E430 that had a lot of transmission problems. I was wondering if anyone knew if the 2000 S430 has the same transmission as the ML430 and E430, and has anyone had any transmission problems. Also, if the S500 runs the same transmission as the E430. Thank you in advance for all your help! Jerome

the others can fit but the ML-Class got different design because it is 4x4.

The W220 body S classes are one of my best sellers, i have not done a trans in one . W140's, oh yeah - many of those. in the 220's, mostly just MAF's and general maitence. Great cars.
