Any fix or TSB known for the driver's and pass. mirrors. The function properly but have a several mm gap at the leading edge that is eliminated by moving the housing. The pass side seems to hit something not allowing the gap to completely close.

 

Looks like this is a pseudo breakaway mirror. I drove the car and the mirrors are tight with no gap, they are not a true breakaway like BMW for the last 20 years but they do allow some "give" in the event of a bump as I did when claying it yesterday. The tightening process seems to be a mechanical set up but may run off of vacuum like the locks. Either way, I am glad to see this near annoyance solved.
