S Grill change
 

I mentioned last week that I had ordered a grill with the large center star. It was ordered (supposedly) through a company in Canada, but it came shipped from China (recd. in 5 days).
The quality appears to be as good as the original MB grill. I had thought that the original MB grill was plastic with metal chrome on the ribs. Well, when I pulled it apart I found that the MB grill is all plastic....chromed over plastic on the ribs....same as the replacement.
The star that came with the package is supposedly an authentic MB part, but it is also plastic and the quality doesn't seem quite as good as the grill:-) The package that the star came in was a MB package and even had the foil seal like I've seem on other MB parts. Of course, some people in China have no qualms in reproducing anything. I imagine it would take some kind of scanner to determine it's authenticity.
Anyway,the starred grillchanges the looks of the car.I guess each person has to decide what lookhe likes. I figured for the price of a dealership oil change that I'd give it a try.
I had to play with it a little to install. The company I ordered from was good on emamil advice. If anyone gets one and has a problem, I'll be glad to share what I learned.

looks good. im still undecided about doing this, i kinda like the hood star.
