S Battery
 

Does anyone know if Interstate was the battery that came with a 2001 S430? This is model MTP93, 850 cca.
I'm trying to replacemy battery, itis an Interstate and there is no date marked on it. It has a prorated 85 month warranty and I'm trying to decide whether to tryto replace it under the pro-rated warranty or go for a different one.
In the Consumer Reports tests, the Interstate was not highly rated. Funny, but one of the best batteries in the tests was the Everstart sold only at Walmart. I've always used Die Hards, but they didn't do that well in the tests either.
