Reunited at last
Finally my Mercedes arrived in Germany and with that said, Ihad the opportune to put it on the Autobahn a little. It felt right at home. The W126 owners in the states are missing out on a lot.
Imagine, cruising at 85 mph in the W126 without having to be paranoid about getting a ticket. Or kick it up to 110 and no one gives a hoot. Or if ya feeling froggy that day, 140.
See I've driven Neons, Focuses, and other non authobahn material cars on the autobahn and immediately, you can tell they have no buisness there. But the 560SEL, mine in particular, really shines. Home court advantage. 80 mph was simple and easy, like everyday cruising at 55. And step on it, and you're at 100 mph within a blink of the eye and the dang thing is still begging for more.
More to follow as I bust the myth of the top speed of a tank, I mean, a W126.

Yeah, it has to pass the inspection (no prob for my car.) and then i get German Euro style plates. Easy process through the Army and it cost only $15. That's it. Already passed the driving test a while ago. (It was a hard test.)
