Rear Doors - Stuck
Hello room
The rear doors on W140 UK spec car are stuck and I cannot open them.
Does anyone have an idea how i can go about opening these, the car belonged to mum and the rear doors have hardly been used, and now I cannot open them.
The inside trim cannot be removed or it seems like it cannot be removed as it neatly slides into the posts A & C.
Please anyhelp would be appreciated
Thanks in advance

RE: Rear Doors - Stuck
Two things.
First, you have to verify the door has been successfully unlocked. In other words, you have to check whether the locking mechanism is stuck or the door is stuck. If the locking mechanism is stuck...you have to open up the panels one way or another. If not, go to step 2.
Secondly, we are sure the locking mechanism is fully unlocked. In this case, pull the lever as usual to open the door. Kick the door hard from the inside. Do not pull from the outside. Pushing from the inside has significant advantage over the other way for apparent reasons.
If the door still does not open, you'd better turn it in to the shop.
If you cannot do it, one final cheap trick you can try is: have the car detail(wash, wax, clean, etc). Let the detail shop worry about opening that door. Dont say a thing, act like you did not know about that door problem. If they cant open it you really need to take it to a repair shop.
