Default PSE PUMP

My PSE pump located under the Passenger side, rear seat has been shutting off due to water being found in the Foam housing the pumps is placed in. When I remove the excess water, dry the pump and reset it, it will work for a few days, but water, find its way back in the foam housing every time. I dried the foam housing again, reset the pump and this time seal the entire housing on the outside with Duck tape to prevent water from getting into the pump if it is from an outside source, but that did not solve the problem, the pump is still wet despite the housing being sealed. My question is, Where is the water coming from? can one of the hose attached to the pump carry water directly into it? Outside sources has been ruled out since the housing is now seal from the outside, I'm trying to find the reason. Help, Please.

Thank God I'm not in new Orleans. I'm in New Jersey and I made sure the last time I dry the compartment that the car wasn't wash for two weeks nor did we have any rain in my area. I don't think the water is from the outside since I've sealed the entire foam housing with Duct tape where the PSE Pumps resides. The only thing I can think of, one of the hose is caring water, I could be wrong. Reseting the pump only last two days, it will work, then get wet and shut down. I drained 3/4 of a cup the last time I've checked it. Can you think of anything?

I had the same problem, however, my PSE pump got wet due to a window being down in a storm. How do you reset the pump?

My door locks stopped working. The dealer is telling me I need to replace thepse pump. They quoted me $832.00 for the pump plus couple of hours for labor! Need to find new sourceto purchasepse pump. The part I'm not clear about is the door locks do not work, but my door suction is working. All doors when i shut them are pulled closed with suction?? I thought that was also a fuction of the pse pump. I would appreciate some help. Thank you.

theres a fresh air inlet box in the r/r of the engine compartment.. in there is something called a reed valve the usually clogs up and causes water to enter in the interior under the front passenger side and under the carpet...it travels under the car and causes major damage that can lead to a complete body harness replacement.. the reed valve is a rubber piece...just remove the whole rubber, it wont hurt anything..and it will prevent any future clogging
