Hi guys,

Since its an old skool car that i riding... but i still love em ride in long distances. I recently came across to some problems on the ride On Driving at short distances , but when i drove long distances it never happens to stall ! hmm...

Ive notice if the engine is in cool temp like in the morning you warm up the car and drove it to work, it operates like it should be. Like A cool pimp driving it

but when it took another drive like going out some where and drive like home (short distances). the car stalls. i notice the rpm drops after the release the acceleration pedal. and even when i try to start the car the accelerator will ignite but when release it stalls again.

i have a friend who has WDB 140 S420 model.. quite similar items on it... except the cruise control motor.

ive tried replace the idler control,relay regulator near to the throttle area. Fuel pump relay, fuel pump 2pcs. and fuel filter. im doing this is because i cant find anybody has a diagnostic machine who can diagnostic an 88/89 model merc ;(


it will act Still the same and it stalls.. unless i keep the car cool by opening the front hood for 10-15mins and try to start and move. When it doesnt work... the accelerator pedal will act like the cruise control has been removed. at time i notice the cruise control link is half way open/pulled by the motor. when i put to its original position i will work but have to wait for another 10-15mins which is so annoying / embarrassing on the side of the road.



anybody who has these experts to help me out? i personally tried help out many people on their own cars but i seem difficult to sort my own old s500 merc hahhaha... such a shame on me
