Where do I begin. So this car was given to me. It has been running pretty good besides the airmatic giving me issues. I took it to the carwash and it died at the end of the car wash. I tried to put it in gear to push it away from the car wash but it wouldn't go into gear. I then looked up on the Internet how to put it into gear by the bends works guy and he said take the shifter pommel off and pull the shifter down and tap it with a hammer. I did that and was able to put it in neutral. I believe that the car wash is this the reason why the car died. There is some rust on the roof that may have allowed water to run down the posts. And where the fuses are those two Wells were full of water. Not in the actual fuse box but outside of it. There were a bunch of leafs clogging the drain ports . the car dried out for two days and it starts now. But now it won't shift out of first or second gear. When I move the shifter paddle left and right nothing happens. I had a cel p0600 but cleared it and have the abs light on. Please help
