Help please! 2002 s500!!!
 

Hey I am looking at a 2002 S500 that is for sale but there is a problem with the car. The car doesnt go past 30mph. The seller said they had it looked at and the error code that came up is P0778 transmission code. He said that solenoid B needs to be replaced. Does anyone know if that alone could be the problem or could it just be the transmission? Also if it is the transmission does anyone have an idea of the cost? Thanks everyone!!!:)

That's automatic transmission faliure....... replace a new one is your remedy .... hope the guy who sells this sellsl you VERY cheap...
