Default headlight upgrade ?

I just bought my first Benz. It's a 2002 S430, and I'd love to upgrade the headlights to the clear lens style that's on some of the newer models.
My local dealer wants a more than I can afford for it, and I hope someone can steer me in another direction.
Thank you for any help you can give me here.

We have DEPO clear projector headlamps (2003-2006 style) with Philips HID kit built-in.

I am keeping you in mind K1, my projector beams arrive in 2 days and I am going to upgrade to HID and your kit looks like a true plug and play, am I correct? Is the $299 kit for the HID portion only or does it include the entire headlamp assembly too?

Don't forget the tail lights too. The crisp clarity of the new lens is superior to the dull plastic of the 00-02

Yes, it is plug & play. Kit is for HID portion only.

K1, sounds more interesting. All of the hardware pictured I imagine rests in the empty area behind the lights. Is it best to put in my new projectors then the HID or do it all at the same time before putting in the new lenses.

I have heard that the Higher the K the more purple the light but the output is not as bright, in other words 5K is crystal white and very bright while 8K is violet blue but not as bright an output, what say you.

It would be better to install both headlamps and HID kit at the same time. 6K ouputs white light and 8K outputs blue light.
