hello everyone i have a 2001 s500 the egr valve is leaking and also the air tube seals does anyone know where this is located this is my frist mercedes benz it has 55000 miles great car love it please help

 

very back of engine. must remove the engine cover to access and se it. passenger side. make sure you check the rubber vacuum lines going to the EGR valve they do break off. shuld be like 3 hoses on the EGR

the shope told me that the somke test perfomed found 2 vac leaks and the fule trim is incorrect they want start by replaceing the erg valve and air tubes is this something that can be dun at the house or let them do it
