hello
i have a 2001 s500 with 138K ..for some reason the a/c, heat stopped blowing anything no air or heat what so ever.
i happend a few times a couple of weeks ago when it wasnt blowing anything ,so i turned off the car restarted it and then it started working again .but now nothing.it shows it going on ,on the display ,but doesnt blow anything..any suggestions?..also does anyone have a fuse chart for this car ?..i would appreciate any help.thank you.

Your blower motor may be bad, or you can check your fuses.

 

can you please let me know which fuses they are ?
i dont have a chart of the fuses. also do you think it may be the regulator? thank you for your help

 

i dont know which fuses are responsible for the blower, but if you have time, you can go through the fuses under back seat, under the hood, or on the passanger side of the dash.

 

Could it also be the climate control unit itself?

 

it could be, there are many possibilities, to check climate control unit you need to take apart center console, and i dont think you will be able to see if its bad or not just by looking at it. New unit is about 300$, so i would check fuses first and the blower motor itself.

 

...also, I think dealer can reset your AC control unit

 

the blower must be stucked.

try turning it with your finger and see if it's binding.

replace it.
