I've got a problem with a T hose fitting that apparently cracked and leaked. Is this common? I assume it just dried out and started to leak? Anyone else with this problem?

hmm... maybe not common, but predictable.

 

That's not exactly common as to say that every 11 years that hose fittinh will break. How long a hose fitting will last depends on things like average temp, humidity, driving conditions and things like that. In eleven years though, there's nothing unusual about a hose fitting dring out and breaking. And anyone else with a car that's around 10 years plus old may have or had a hose fitting break or that maybreak in the future. Don't worry, it shouldn't be expensive to fix.
