Default 94 S 320

Hi, I have a 94 S 320 and i just did the head gasket, timing chain, and valves because my head broke. Thanks to great diagrams i recieved on this site from sleepwalker i was able to get the car put back all together and turn the engine over. By hand it turns over smooth. When i go to start it, it seems to turn over normal it just doesnt start. I double checked the timing according to the diagrams and it seems right. My main question and concern is that when my friend turned the car over once it is perfectly timed and then when he turn it over again its not. So every other full turn it is where it should be. Also i played with the ignition coil wires and it seemed to start while i held it down then when i let go it shut off. That whole time the car seemed like it was running on only a few cylinders. Does anyone know what this problem could be???? I would really appreciate the help. Thanks, Danny

two turns on crankshaft is equivalent to one turn on the camshaft.

got spark on ignition?
got fuel pressure?
was it injecting fuel?

Yes i have fuel pressure and it is injecting fuel. As for the spark it has power to the coils when i test it with just the ignition on then when i turn the car over it seems to lose power. I dont know if i need new wires or if just the connectors into the coils are bad is there a way to test those?? Thanks for the fast response. Danny
