6 Disc CD Changer removal
Hi All!
I need to replace the 6 Disc CD Changer in my 2002 S430 but when I unscrewed the 2 screws that mounts the bracket something is still holding everything in place. Everything is loose but I am missing something. Any/all help would truly be appreciated.

i think I remember the exact same thing happening with my uninstall. There is a screw at the bottom, or in a wierd location and if I remember correctly was attached to a bracket that looks like part of the unit. Also, warning, be very careful with this wiring and the fiberoptic in particular. I put in a new cd unit and about 6 months later if burned out. The CD player was bad again, plus the plug was ruined. I was informed the only fix is a new wiring harness for 5K. needless to say, I just don't ahve a CD player any longer. just be gentle with that stuff.

CD changer
In mine, a CD is stuck midway between fully in and fully out, i.e., ejected into the magazine. Anyone have advice on how to remedy this? Or how to open the mechanism further and extract the CD and the magazine?
I have removed all the covers and the workings are exposed, but I have not taken any of the changer and player mechanism apart. It looks a bit daunting, but I have a screwdriver and a hammer (ha, ha).

1997 SL320 CD Changer bracket
Trying to work on the SL antenna. Need to first remove the CD changer and bracket. Removed and unplugged the CD changer (no fiber optics). Removed the two screws attaching the changer bracket. Bracket will not move and is solidly in place. Could not find any other screws. Any suggestions? I am afraid to pry the bracket for fear of breaking something.
