3rd party warranty......need advise
 

I hopeing someone could help me out here. I brought a 2000 S500 for $14,900 plus tax with 94000 miles on her and was wondering if anyoneknew of any company that warranties the airmatic on these cars? I really dont care about anything else but that. All the ones I looked at so far never mention suspension parts. I contacted MB toll free number and the CSR told me that all of the recalls has been done on this car, but im going to see if she/they could send that to me for my recordes. The only thing from the carfax I have is it was a 1 owner (A Illinois Dr.) Failed emissions in 2006 at 80,000 miles then passed but itdontsay anything about in for recall service.

Well, it should be simple to go to the dealer and find out if there are recalls on the car. As for warranties, if you're thinking about buying one, make sure it suits your purpose. Most often, they're not worth the paper they're written on. You must really read what the warranty "does not cover." Then you'll see what I mean. Good luck to you. Let us know how you make out.
