Please help, I was cruising down the hiway 60MPH and my car died tach kind of jumped up then I lost all power. Tried to restart but it just cranked and cranked. I have absolutly no spark, any suggestions on where or what I should look for ? 1987 Gas 6 cyl. thanks.

 

rpm cable. the tach is characteristic, and the cis control will not allow the coil to spark if it does not see an rpm signal.
