Default 2004 S 500 Sluggish Acceleration

when at a stand still and the accelerator is engaged the RPMs rev, yet the car is sluggish and resistant to respond. Please help, there are no check lights in the cluster or any unusual noises that are apparent.

it sounds like you have a plug wire or two going bad. they wont always set a engine light at first. if your going to replace 1 wire you might as well do them all as well as spark plugs. remember those ones in the rear are a real pain in the ***. oh and mb actually makes a tool for this
