2001 S500 Front Suspension Problem
I just get an oil change from the dealership today. They told me that the there is air leak on the front struts. They sais they can refill the air and resealed them. I really never heard about anybody doing this kind of works. They asked for $540 to do that.
I really do not notice any problem on the car except there are some vibrations, I thought the tires just need to be balanced. Anybody has any experience in air leak in the suspensions?? Have you heard about somebody refilling the air and resealed in the suspensions? Any advise will be very helpful. |

if its the airbag...they have to replace it. if its a hose or a fitting then they have to release the air ..then refill...
hope that helps Lemon |
RE: 2001 S500 Front Suspension Problem
I am just wondering how complicated it is to do the refill. They were asking for $540. Do you think independent mechanic can do the refill??? Do you think the car vibrate because of the air leak? I have driven the car this weekend for couple hours. I checked the height for the left and right reems are the same. I also do not see any malfunction message in the dashboard. Is the technician at the dealership just miss diagnose?
