2001 s500
 

Hello everyone!! been away for awhile, i have a few questions, i have a 2001 S500, and my ac is not working, i refilled the system and still no cold air, i checked the the lines and they dont get cold at all, at first the fan was very weak then i checked the grill vent under the hood and it was cloged with leaves and water, i cleaned it and a bunch of water came out from under neath the car, now the fan is blowing pretty hard, but still no cold air, i noticed in the control panel that the EC light is on i pressed the button many times but the light remains on, i even disconnected the battery for 10 mins to reset but no go, instead now my sunroof doesnt auto open or close agh!! , has anyone experience these symptoms? im lost guys!!

dont know about your a/c, how did u determain that it was low on freon?? maybe you overcharged the system.


but the sun roof needs to be synced, since the battery was disconnected.
open sunroof all the way and hold swith for 20 sec, then close all the way and hold switch again. probebly have to do the windows too.
that usually works for me.

thank Armend!! I appreciate it, the AC i took it to a shop and there was no freon in it, the EC light stays on, we refilled the system with freon and no go, it blows air but not cold
