hi guys,
here's todays quiz.
I had a place over the other day replacing my windshield on my 1999 S320.
when I opened the hood today, I found this part laying on top of the air cleaner.

I think it has something to do with the windshield wiper..
Any ideas ?

It fits over the area your wiper hinges. Slips in at the hinge and snaps down.

 

This looks like the wiper arm cover.... It actually snaps over the wiper arm at the fulcrum where the arm attaches to the spindle.

I must have not put it on correctly... as soon as i turned on the windshield wipers, it flew off.
anyone have a picture of how it should look when it is on ?
