Greetings, all, from Cape Canaveral, Florida. I have a '95 S500 2-door sedan (Coupe?) with the 5.0L engine. I know it needs a new engine wiring harness but am confused as to the part number. I found a new MB OEM harness with the number of 140 540 11 32 for half the price of a new one from the dealer. MB is telling me that the number is 140 440 34 06. The seller swears it is the correct harness. Help! Is there a cross-reference chart available somewhere? I would rather not pay the $1500 for the dealer part.
