hey guys, i got a s420 yesterday and it needs a throttle body so im looking for one! i got a 95 s420 with traction and live in sacramento. if anyone has one for sale for a good price pm me with price shipped! thank you!
If you're looking for the gas actuator, you need a VIN or engine number as there are 2 possibilities for your car (even with skid control).
000 141 73 25
000 141 89 25
Both retail for 1450 and cost is roughly 940, expect to pay roughly 1000-1100 plus shipping. Unless somebody has one they've been sitting on.
Oh and WELCOME to the forum!!

That sounds more like the price of an air flow meter or air mass sensor
000 094 07 48 retail is 565 with cost about 300. Makes sense that it would cost you abour 350.
Make sure for that money it's new and not used.

I only meant if it were for an air flow meter. That's a killer price on the actuator. Hopefully it will last for years to come.
The pollen filter is locted under the engine hood.
Open the hood and look between the engine and interior firewall.
You will see the large plenum assembly that goes from the left to the right side of the car and has about 5 screws that hold it into place.
Remove the cover and you will see the pollen filter near the right hand side fender (left side if looking from the engine).
When removing the cover watch for the two sensors plugged in the bottom of the cover (left hand side, near the brake booster).
While there, clean all the leaves/debris and make sure the drains are clear.

ok i fixed the heater issue! i was wondering can a brocken throttle body effect my gas mileage? i put in 20$ last week i had a quorter tank and i drove 30 miles and the gas light came on today! i know thats not good! i was wondering maybe it sucks cuz of my throttle body? the car still drives just hard time idling on cold. and also when the car is warm and just running at about 700rpms it feels like it might have a misfire! works fine for 3-4 secs then sounds like a misfire then works normally for a few secs then does the same thing! i think its cuz of the throttle body? just wanted to know if that will effect my MPG!
