I have notice the coolant leak is right below the water pump. Can anyone tell me how do I check if it is the water pump leaking or just the hoses connecting to the water pump. Appreciate your help.
There is a small hose connecting from underneath the water pump and the small hose runs downward connected to a black plastic box at the lower side of the engine. The coolant was leaking from the black plastic box. What is the purposes of this box. Is there a DIY showing how to change this small hose? What else do I need to look out for? Appreciate your help.
Searching through the site confirm the water pump seal is leaking and therefore coolant leak through the weep hole. Someone mentioned the seal can be replaced BUT it is better to change the whole water pump.
That all folks.
