450sel 6.9

Hello,
I'm new to this forum, and not sure if this thread is still active.
I have two very specific questions regarding the 450SEL 6.9 and hope someone here who really knows these great cars can answer:
1. How many out of the 7380 cars in total, were manufactured in Right-Hand Drive specification?
2. Is it at all possible to find out who was the first owner via the Chassis/VIN number and the Engine number? The car was kept in one country and then imported into another and so the first original number plate is not available.
Basically, does MB keep any sort of database relating to the first market the car was delivered to from factory when new and who was the first registered owner?
Any sort of educational replies will be appreciated.
Thanks

You usually can find out what market the car was meant for just by the Vin numer. Some grey market cars vin do not show up on the US vin database as they was suppose to be destined for the Euro market, which has it's own set of vins.

Thanks,
and how can you find that by the VIN number?
What about the Right-Hand Drive numbers built?
