I have a 01 s430, love it, but I have a vibration coming from under the car around the transmission.

1. Already changed the engine mounts and it got worse.


2. Check the drive shaft and bushings, everything is tight and neat.

3. It only vibrates over 2000 rpms, and does it on the go or in park.

Im thinking harmonic balancer or could there be something inside the transmission or torque converter. Any body have any problems like this.

Have a look on the flexi discs that are also the common causing the strange vibrations

I dont think it is the flex disc, because it does the same vibration when you rev the engine over 2000 rpms in park

 

Have you look on the transmission mounting?
