'01 S430 Radio Locked Up
 

Today the radio display and radio "locked up."
I use Sirius Satellite radio which transmits to an empty FM Channel.
The radio is locked on this empty Channel, which is my preset "0."

The radio turns on and off, and I can toggle through the basic radio menu at the bottom of the display, but that's it. No sound. No CD. No Cassette. No station changes or pre-set buttons. No steering wheel control. No Nav. No nothin'.

Any ideas?

Any suggestions on an aftermarket with appropriate face-plate, or are we talking full custom fit? Thanks in advance.

there is a fue box under light panel of Right Rear seat , remove light panel and i think its fuse 72 or 74 no sure . remove for about a min. or two this might reset radio , might need radio code to reprogram . hope this helps. if it does not MB has had problems with that radio .
