Purchasing a 09-10 ML350?
 

I'm in the market for a new SUV and have narrowed my search to the 09-10 ML350. I'm leaning towards the bluetec but wasn't sure if there was that much of power difference between the gas and the diesel. I know there's a significant torque difference but do you really notice that unless your pulling a boat up a hill. Also, does the ML350 in general feel adequately powered. Also, interested in ML550 but the gas mileage is atrocious.

Any thoughts on the subject would be very much appreciated.
