What year is your ML?
Try to reset the lights (turn angle sensor) by turning your steering wheel from lock to lock. If this won't help, check the brake pedal switch, if you don't know how to check it with multimeter, buy new one ($15 at the dealership) and replace it.

Exclamation

I have the same issue with my 99 ML320 with 122000 miles.
I just changed the break light switch and again the BAS/ESP light is ON and OFF. I just noticed something new today , when I was making a sharp left turn on the dry asphalt road, the eclamation mark came on and trasmition was struggling to shift. I tested on the right turn and I did not noticed anything.

Any idea, information will be helpfull

Maybe the solenoid that you are talking about is EGR valve solenoid. With your millage, I would bet that your tube from EGR valve to intake plenum is clogged up with carbon and ones in a while your check engine light comes on. This tube need to be just cleaned, it's easy to remove and reinstall. Please go to autozone and have them read the P code when your check engine light comes on again and post it or search the forum with that code number.

Have you checked that all the tyre pressures are correct and that they are all at a similar wear rate?..........one worn or under-
inflated tyre could cause your problem.

Both of the tasks are very easy to do by yourself.
For brake switch you have to take of the kick panel dash protector, just two screws and one or two plastic nuts. Switch is right above brake pedal, unplug wire connector, squeeze plastic tab on the side of the switch (position locking mechanizm for bracket) and turn it counterclockwise 90 deg. and pull it our of bracket.
For EGR tube, loosen up big nut on the top of EGR valve and take out two screws of the tube's flange on intake manufold side. Pull out the tube from EGR valve then from intake plenum, clean it out and reinstall back. I believe I have posted pictures of the tube here before.

When changing the brake light switch you need to follow a couple "setting" procedures.
Pull the brake switch "button" all the way out (it ratchets when pulling).
Push the brake pedal down and hold.
Install the switch and then release pedal.
You will hear the switch ratchet, it's now adjusted.
Connect wires off course.

That maybe setting procedure for the older original and replacement switches. New revision switch A 001 545 87 09 that I have installed to my ML in Nov.of 2009 did not have the adjustable plunger and works fine as plug and play procedure without any setting right out of the bag.
