I have a 1999 M class 430 and was wondering if the Oil filter cap has a reverse thread? Any help would be wonderful. Thank You

 

I too have a 1999 ML 430 and changemy ownoil. The cap is threaded normally and you can use a oil filter wrench tohelp takeit off (I always put a cloth over the cap to keep from scratching it). I use a torque wrench to help tightened it right putting it back on: 25Nm. Good luck.
