I own a 2000 ML320 which all in all ive had very little problems with.
I went to drive it the other day and the air con was only blowing warm air not cold. I checked the Freon and topped it up and checked all fuses and relays, still no different.
I took a look under the hood and can see that when i start the car up the clutch on the air con pulley engages for around 25 seconds and then shuts off and never engages again.
If i turn the engine off and on the same thing repeats, im hoping someone can help me out with this issue.

I would suggest getting your codes read; it'll give you a great place to start troubleshooting.

By codes you mean the ones you can get done at autozone etc for free.
My check engine light is on come to think of it but i assummed that was my ecr valve sticking again

 

I'm not sure what kind of scanner Autozone uses, but I'm referring to the DTC codes that show any faults within the whole system.
