My ETS light, BAS light, Breakpad light, break light and check engine lights are on
My ETS light, BAS light, Breakpad light, break light and check engine lights are on. Went to dealer 1 and they indicated low voltage and replaced battery. Light went of but showed up a couple of days later. Then went to dealer 2 they inidcated fuse box is the problem. Fuse box changed and lights came back the next day. I have the ML500 SUV.

Sounds like you may need to change the ESP module, ours had the same symptoms and that was the fix. But it's not cheep.

take it back to dealer and tell them to remove the fuse box. you paid for it and its not fixed. now the best thnig to do is not rush them to get your car done. this happens alot. customers complain about something, but then you dont want to leave the car for them to verify if its been repaired correctly.i do know of a similar problem with your particular ML. at the back driver side behind the left wheel at the body frame. there is a harness for esp and brake wear sensors that gets chaffed threw and causes similar issues with esp and brake wear lights.
also as stated by another poster, could also be a bad esp unit. but first make sure the relays are good for traction control. ive seen bad relays cause this same issue. |
Agree with chassis221. I had the exact symptoms and they were resolved by replacing the sensors on the left rear wheel
