ML320 Window sticky/sap/gue on driver side

ML320 Window sticky/sap/gue on driver side
My ml320 '00 on the dirver side window has what looks like some type of sticky/gue/Sap on it (on the outside of the window). It started after rolling the window down once and then when it came back up it has the stuff on it. The dealer can fix it for a lot of money ofcourse. Anyone has any info on this please help me out.

THE NOISE INSULATION HAS COME LOOSE FROM INSIDE OF DOOR SKIN. REMOVE DOOR PANEL AND REMOVE INSULATION. CLEAN DOOR SKIN AND REPLACE WITH NEW INSULATION. THIS IS COMMON AND YOU MAY NOTICE THE SAME PROBLEM FROM OTHER DOORS AND EVEN THE SUNROOF. NEW PARTS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE DEALER
