I just purchased a 2000 ML430. I got it for a great price but the sellers wife smashed the dash all up with a hammer I didn't ask why, I just bought it.

It only has about 43K on it as I verified it with a carfax report I did and a recent receipt for tires. My question is that after changing the dash from a boneyard host, will my low mileage show up?

I was told that the odometer info is in the main computer and not in the cluster system. If thats true, I'm ok, otherwise I might get stuck with a high reading on a low mileage car.

Anyone know here?
