Mixed different aspect ratio tires cause ESP problems

Default Mixed different aspect ratio tires cause ESP problems

Just to share my mistake of installing two 275/45 tires in the front and two 275/40 in the back.
This has caused the ESP light to come on and the cruise control to malfunction.

The car is "tire aspect ratio" sensitive.

I chaged for 4 tires 275/45 and everything returns back to normal.

So do not mix tires with different sizes on Mercedes ML.

I saw different tires sizes on a 2010 BMW 535 GT.
The rear tires on the BMW are bigger and tought a small difference wuold not hurt mine.
Probably the BMW has different sensors...
