I need advice on a car seat that mates well with our 2005 ML500. The back seat is contoured and as a result our infant car seat is too pitched (a Graco) and baby falls foward. If anyone has experiencein this area- or maybe you have a friend.... I can use a suggestion.

Have you tried rolling up a towel and using it to prop the seat?
The instructions that came with my Graco seat said to do that and it works fine.
Just make sure you put all your weight on the seat as you tighten it down.
The towel also protects your car's seat from the baby seat.

I do this for my Blazer and my Acura 3.2 TL type S.

Also, I had to do this when it was rear facing and when it was front facing.
