mercedes said it technically isnot a recall but have instead changed our warranty from 5 years , 60,000 to 10 year 100,00 limited to a few things. the power steering went out on my mothers ml the other day . it was spewing fluid everywhere. she parked it as soon as i got the call,went to check it out , turns out the clamp that is used punctures the fluid line coming from the resivior. it has some slack so all i did was cut itshorter slide it back on with a diffkind of clamp . good as new . we then took it to our local dealer they said it should be fine . i was just sliding the infothis way because mercedes said its not covered if you burn the pump . so pretty much , you fix it , then take it to them so they can fix it again.
