2003 ML 270 CDI (Automatic transmission)

Gear shifts are very very soft and, especially shifting up from 3 to 4, tend to slip for a moment.

I've heard people complaining about shift being too hard but mine is the opposite.

Anyone know if/how this can be adjusted ? Maybe there's a vacuum valve that can be adjusted or something like that ?
