Default DiCostal in the house.

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum,
My wife owns a Black ML 320, we bought it about 2 years ago. Great car so far, thank God, no issues
However the car has 55K miles, and I am not sure what kind of expenses are ahead.
I was thinking about selling it however I am having second thoughts, at it truly has been a good car to us thus far.
I would appreciate if you guys could please let me know what kind of expenses are ahead of me....

Thanks

Welcome to the forum! It may help the group if you could tell us what year model your ML is. I'm sure someone can help you. We have had our 2001 only a month.... maybe premature but it's a great car!

WOW finally a reply , this forum is alive LOL
Thank you for the warm welcome.
My wife loves her ML, and she does not want me to sell it, so I guess we will be keeping it.
I am just hopping it does last a long time, and those gas prices stop rising.
The Car is a 2002 ML320, 56K miles. Everything works.
However I am not sure how often Brakes, shocks, and whatever else needs to be replaced on this car.
Also I think the car is a little too top heavy, and when the time comes fro shocks, I might lower the car an inch or two, unless not recommended...

Thanks

Your Welcome! I'm just "Paying it forward"! From this and other forums I/We can be doing brakejobs abot every 15-20 thousand miles. I know it seems frequent but the factory pads are a little soft hence the awesome braking capabilities of a Benz. Keep a close check on the brake dust as it will accumulate and if not cleaned regularly will harden on your rims. Take it from me, being a former paint and body guy on these cars! I have seen rims thrashed from brake dust that was not kept in check! As for the top heavy condition.... the ML has some counter measures built in that should help it from rolling over if that is your concern. I read something about it but I am not sure what it is called... Maybe someone else could answer that for you. As for me I would not lower the truck... I'm enjoying the ground clearance the ML is affording us!!
