I have a 2009 ML 350..The battery is dead..no power..no lights..keyless entry does not work...I tried the mechanical key..put it in the driver side door..turned it counter clockwise..pulled on the handle but it does not unlock...I can feel a difference in resistance when turning counterclockwise but it still does not unlock..am I doing something wrong?...thanks!

 

I got it...FYI...I had to pull the handle at a "rapid" motion and the **** sort of "ratchets" it's way up to the unlock position.

 

Its a stupid design I think.
