Corner braking issue
Got a question.
When turning corners over 12 mph the vehicle brakes on its own aggressively and startsto jerk due to the braking and the triangle light with the ! Symbol comes on, only does it while turning once the vehicle straightens out its fine. Anyone know what causes this and how to fix it? |
Check your tire sizes and make sure they are correct. Maybe an rpm sensor. Has anyone had the brake caliper off? Maybe the brake hose is kinked and when turning the wheel it's causing the brake at that wheel to apply.

One tire is an off size rear pass side. The brake calipers have not been off since we've owned it, which has been about 8 months... Also it's both sides whether you turn right or left this happens. How can I check the rpm sensor?

That is your problem. The car thinks the tires are slipping because it isn't seeing the wheel RPM it expects for the driving conditions.
Even though the tire has been on there awhile? It's been different for about 7 months with no issue...( I haven't had the money to change the tires...) would lower than spec tire pressure cause this? I havent checked the pressure but I'm sure its low not flat but low... |
