I'm trying to figure out if I can treat the Mercedes codes the same as VW codes. For example: cylinder misfire code on my vw came up and I had to replace a water temperature sensor. Now the code for a cylinder misfire came on a mercedes does it mean the same (water temperature sensor) or is it something else. and here are all the codes its' spitting out, if someone can help me out I'd appriciate. I really dont want to take my car to a mechanic I'd like to fix it myself.

How come on a cylinder misfire code you had to replace the water temperature sensor ? Doesn't a cylinder misfire code mean you need to replace the sparkplugs (or have a tune-up ?)

To my knowledge Misfire codes on a mercedes isnt a tempature sensor.
Run a search and you'll find lots of Mass flow air sensors replaced as well as Ignition wires and plugs.

 

It happen to me too;
Change the Spargplugs all of them (TUN-UP)and wires.you'll be fine.
