battery light

i bought 2008 ml 350 with 30,000 miles. after one month it shows battery sign in white light.but suv starts right away all the time. am i supposed to change the battery and how much dealer will charge? thanks

you most likely need the auxillary battery, under the passenger seat floor area. that usually causes the white battery light.
