BAS/ESP has been on and off ever since I bough this ML320 2000 truck a year ago. Back then it occurred once every 2 to 3 months but for the past 3 months its been coming on weekly basis and even daily sometimes. Took it to Mercedes dealer and they said the throttle valve actuator (Throttle body) was bad. Just spent $ 500 to buy a used one and 300 to install, problem went away for about 2 weeks and is back again. Car drives well during the first 20 minutes, but the more I drive this problem crops up again. I can drive for short distances without any problem but the more miles I put, the issue comes up. Anybody has any idea what is going on here; don’t want to spend another 1000 grand without results. Could take back to the dealer but even they could not nail it the first time around.
