Another fuel guage? diff fuse box

hello to all,I have a 1999 Mercedes ml 320 I have read several post in regards to trying to remove fuse #5 to re set the fuel system, now they say the fuse box is under the passenger side floor. That is only on newer models mine is located in the engine compartment so I looked for fuse #5 and it is not what the post is saying.so would it b a relay? Can someone tell me so I can be clear on what the fuse should say?or if it is a fuse or a relay? Thanks to all:o

Side kick panel on the side not below the dashboard.. it's below the dashboard but on the right side.. it's on the floor.. you can see it has to screw driver type screws holding it in
