I just recieved a set of 2004 disks (backups) and have been informed that they are not done on a computer. I really wanted to see if my cities were on the system before forking out the money for a new real set.... I ask the question "Will they upgrade the system correctly" and I was informed that they were not from a PC. So I put in a disk and it said downloading the software.... about half way though it told me to check the disk... I pulled the disk out, looked at it for damage or proiblems. Put it back in and it started the process again. Then it said the same thing... check disk... I inserted another disk.... original was 8 and I figure I would try 6... Then the screen went blank and now I got nothing. Should I assume that my navigation is fried????

Ok... Lots of views and no responders... so my next question is how do I get the DVD unit and does it really come with a DVD? And is there a version that can be installed that plays movies?
