Default 270 CDI power loss

Hi all

I have a 2005 Mercedes270 cdi and after cruising ataround 70 to 80 for 20 minutes it starts to loose power. It never stops completely but won't go past about 40 until I stop and let it cool down. The garage has tried a number of things but no luck so far. Any ideas?

has it been on the dignostic yet,if not it sounds more like charge pressure low, this fault usally comes up if the turbo trasducer is inop, and are various faults on this cdi 2 models the first one is i mentioned secondly airmass, transducer is the most of all,you really need to diagnose the fault before anything.............

Thanks for the input. It has been on the diagnostic but apparently nothing showed up. I suspect it was not at the the temperature thatthe problem normaly occures at.
