Having problem shifting now and then it would not shift. have to turn car off and restart it works fine after that. want know any body have similar problem. I think it conductor plate on transmission which is attache to valve body. but dealer wount sell it unless i register through nastf.org. 390 on parts and 160 to program. anyone with some input of the problem or ideas. No check engine light on, atf level is right on.

 

yes, could be a conductor plate but the earlier year 7 speeds you could need a new valve body also when replacing the conductor plate. software issues. if your transmission is a VGS1 you will need both items if you have a VGS2 you only need the conductor plate. only the dealer can tell you which one you have.
