01 ML430 Keyless entry help
I am looking at buying a 01 ML430 and the keyless entry does not work. The dealer I am buying from said he had it checked and it needs a new “module and reprogram”. He said it would run around $350.00 to have this done. Does this sound right? He has already tried new batteries and re-sync but that did not work.
If it is a “module and reprogram" is this something I can do myself?

usually its just a relearn of the remote with the Benz Computer. it will learn the remote to the car. thats usually all it takes.and the dealers usually do it for free or very cheap.
